Publix doubles vaccine distribution with total of 49 stores

Current coronavirus vaccination sites in Citrus and Hernando counties will continue the service, along with sites in five new counties. Publix will soon administer COVID-19 vaccines in 49 stores across eight counties, roughly doubling its reach since its vaccination program began last week, the chain announced Tuesday, Jan. 12.
